Nothing more moving than singing your Alma Mater for the first time as an alum...

We celebrated three graduations last week here at St. Mary's Academy! On Monday, we celebrated with our older Noah's Ark students; on Tuesday, with our Kindergartners, and on Wednesday, with our Eighth Graders. Each ceremony was a special reminder of the gift these students are to us all. And in a special celebration on Tuesday evening, we celebrated a candelit Baccalaureate Mass in the school chapel, soon to be renamed in honor of St. Alphonsus.

Many of our second-graders recently made their First Communions in their home parishes, and this week they had the chance to receive Communion together. At Monday morning's Mass, the second-graders not only received Communion together, they also proclaimed God's word from the altar, led the Prayer of the Faithful, and served as the choir, delighting the crowd with spirited versions of "Immaculate Mary" and "Hail, Holy Queen Enthroned Above."
