Teachers throughout the building have been teaching children the real reason for the season. Several classes, including Mrs. Waters' fifth grade and Mrs. Leland's third grade, made their own Advent wreaths. While the fifth-graders worked with live greenery, the third-graders used an option with fewer needles.
